Finally, a tank I can go right down the middle of the map with in World of Tanks! Well... sometimes. When there's not a Maus and 3 Lowes above me in the fight. Farmpunk and I did a battle tonight where my Tiger and his T-29 were the scouts at the bottom of the list. Ouch!

Sisters of ....?
by farmpunk
I've been trying hard not to look at the rumors for My beloved Sisters of battle. I know they're leaking out there, and I know Heresy Online's got some rumors stewing, and Warseer's got rumors simmering, and TastyTaste's been working on rounding up the rumors. (Which I'm glad, I don't really want to waste my time on the speculation.)
but the rumors have gotten my panties in a bunch. Some changes are rumored to be made that will change the playstyle of the army. (besides losing Inducted IG)

40K: "Hi, my name is 40K, and I have a problem."
Players: "Hi 40K!"
40K: "I'm, I'm... I'm addicted to needless dice rolling."

Hobby Pro tip
by TheGraveMind
Pro tip #1; Let the glue dry.
Simple really, and yet I've done it twice on the same project. I start painting, and the glue gives. Now I have wet paint on a piece that I can't handle that I need to glue back together. Sigh.

The 'Ard Boyz Prelims are coming up in 3 weeks. My question to TB40K community is, does anyone still care?

Stuff For Sale: Painted 40K Models/Minis
by SandWyrm
As part of Operation: Pay For NOVA, I've been digging through my collection of models looking for things that I don't really need anymore (including Rocket Girl, above) and putting them up on eBay. So come on in and look around at all the cool painted stuff I'm getting rid of.

40K Gaming In Atlanta?
by SandWyrm
Howdy Y'all!
It looks like I might be spending some time down in Atlanta soon for business. So let me ask this of our readers: What's the best/most competitive game store or stores down there?

Grey Knights: Crowe and purifiers; Better than I expected!
by Spaguatyrine
I decided to play a game with Crowe and some purifiers to help out a friend in testing his army. I was pretty sure I was going to get toasted while going 2nd against a nasty guard army...

New World Of Tanks Channel
by SandWyrm
Those of you that play World of Tanks can chat with Farmpunk, Spagy, and I on our very own channel. Just do a search for TheBack40K inside your garage and it should come right up.
Those of you who don't play World of Tanks, WHY NOT?!?! ;)

Thoughts on List Building
By TheGraveMind
I'm neither dead nor forgotten. I've been working a lot more on the hobby side of things lately, and when I can, I'm getting games in with some random lists I've made getting good inspiration. I had been running Mech Angels as my tournament list, and they have been doing well for me. I tried Jumpers again but they just don't seem to work that well on short notice. I've been thinking up some ideas for a Tyranid list to play for fun. I've had some ideas on general list building, and I figured it was time to make a post again.

A Better Hellhound?
by SandWyrm
Saw this concept rendering over on Beasts of War for a new model by Secret Weapon Miniatures. Nice. It's the first Hellhound-like model I've seen that I like better than my own conversions. It looks both fast and scary at the same time. :)

Why Not Warmachine?
by SandWyrm
I was reading through VT2's embarrassing rant on 3++ today when I started wondering why I haven't given Warmachine a proper try. I've been trying Kings of War. I've bought into Malifaux (We need to play Uberdark!!!). And yesterday I picked up the rulebook for Flames of War to scratch the itch that World of Tanks has started. At some point Farmpunk and I will try out Warpath. But why not Warmachine?

If 40K Had Better Tank Rules...
by SandWyrm
I've been playing World of Tanks for about a week now. With 364 battles under my belt, or a bit more than double my 5th Edition 40K experience, I'm starting to crave some changes to how vehicles work in 40K. Here's my accumulated thoughts.

What Tank Is This?
by SandWyrm
I'm Baaaaaaaak to the TB40K!
I just spent a week out in the middle of Kansas farm country with Mrs. SandWyrm's relatives. She saw beautiful rolling farms and horses/cows. I saw ideal tank country. :)

Las/Plas Razorback vs. Twin Linked Assault Cannon Razorback
By Spaguatyrine
With the increased melta meta game light armored transports have taken over the 40k battlefield instead of heavy armored Landraiders. This goes to question which Razorback is the best option?
Is it....
