So no saying my Mandrakes wouldn't have gotten to get RIDICULOUSLY LUCKY and eat that jet plane.Anonymous Foodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14362829012549159278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4519319818452068646.post-46245717871596106122010-11-04T15:53:56.344-04:002010-11-04T15:53:56.344-04:00Yeah... one of my bigger facepalm moments. But he...Yeah... one of my bigger facepalm moments. But hey, who said Dark Eldar ever fight fair, right?

And, in my defense... I wasn't the only one accidentally cheating... :P

I checked it out, and turns out that you do in face measure distance from the *hull*, not the base, even for skimmers. As such, that Vendetta was too high to contest anything on the ground (one of the biggest downsides of the model). So as it was, the game was a tie.

Honor (yeah, even we dark scum have it) demands that I add that, without that threat on the objective, the warriors in the building would have easily moved to spread between the two objectives (center and my right hand side), giving me 2-1, and the Reavers *may* have been able to make their 36" turbo count and contested the one you held. Maybe.

Of course, I was still 250 over, so it would have been null and void... but I'd rather have a cheaty win than a cheaty loss, haha!Anonymous Foodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14362829012549159278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4519319818452068646.post-68244921073563881932010-11-04T15:01:14.598-04:002010-11-04T15:01:14.598-04:00It's going to be a game you always remember --...It's going to be a game you always remember -- the one you won with a 250 point handicap.
