I plan on using the really solid pink or blue stuff, like this:

http://www.homedepot.ca/product/c-200-extruded-polystyrene-rigid-insulation-24-in-x-96-in-x-1-in-butt-edge/905948Nurglitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03333941626425462180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4519319818452068646.post-32323308913071795712012-03-18T18:35:03.053-04:002012-03-18T18:35:03.053-04:00That was my plan with the 1" hills. But carving 1/2 or 1/4 inch styrofoam into ramp-like angles is difficult and could leave an edge that's to easily broken.SandWyrmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02265244938930651317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4519319818452068646.post-89962659075001717562012-03-18T18:20:46.329-04:002012-03-18T18:20:46.329-04:00A good suggestion I've been thinking of trying...A good suggestion I've been thinking of trying out was shallow hills with between 15o and 45o slopes, kind of like ramps, rather than the contoured-map-style we're usually used to. Planning on doing it with a hot wire cutter though.Nurglitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03333941626425462180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4519319818452068646.post-23185505435863352682012-03-18T15:22:01.906-04:002012-03-18T15:22:01.906-04:00That table was a little light because it was an in...That table was a little light because it was an intro game for a new player. FoW needs so much more terrain than that!
Good thing you've decided to take matters into your own hands. That bottom table looks much better, even in bare white.
It's a snow table!
;)
Put some pine trees on it, and play!SinSynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12352693991857976930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4519319818452068646.post-992050556756674852012-03-18T09:01:54.004-04:002012-03-18T09:01:54.004-04:00comming along nicely.. good jobcomming along nicely.. good jobHermithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10660059144530844658noreply@blogger.com
