TitanFall

by SandWyrm

Haven't been this excited by a game trailer in a LONG time. I want!

Now if only Metal Gear Solid 5 had a PC version...

  1. I also thought the commericals looked good but given that I have not even opened my latest bioshock game no more video games for a while since I just have not been playing it enough.

  3. You know for whatever reason I just can't get into online FPS'S, I enjoyed me some halo and goldeneye back in the day, but when a twelve year old curses you out with words that the love child of Sam Kinison and Richard Pryor would blush over, it looses a lot of its fun.

    1. That is annoying. But every MMO and OFPS has that.

    2. When I had played WoW for 3 years, had something like 8 Lvl 85 characters and not death knights, I let my son get into it. He was 7 or 8. He loved it. He knew that if he wanted to play a dungeon run, that he would have to remember to ask me first, I would then make a run up and talk extensively that my 7 year old had a level 70 mage. He had done it himself, and I would tell them he wasn't the best in dungeon runs, but it was known by most that "dude, Uber's 7 year old kid made a pretty OTT warrior mage." So it went fine. Then the whole dynamic of the game shifted. Power gamers, farmers, etc got in on the action. It got so bad one day, this guy started screaming at my son. He had known as well as the rest he was seven. Dave was not playing tank properly. It escalated into him exclaiming, " I HOPE YOUR SON GETS AIDS AND GETS HIT BY A BUS!!!!" I won't lie I lost it. I contacted the admins and they did nothing, it wasn't until I found out every little place he went to that I sent my guild after him. After about 3 weeks of being killed, or joining a dungeon and losing because everyone would stand back at JUST the wrong time and let him die, he got the picture. Don't pick on or threaten kids. I closed my account a week later and sold my characters. That was the end of my MMO life. I much prefer my PS1 and some role playing fun. But each and every person has their own thing. :)

  4. I love the design of this game. It's so clever - The human vs AI gameplay gives everyone a power trip. The mechs are great and look like a lot of fun to fight with and against. The narrative design of the levels as well as the background makes the maps feel really alive and cool. CoD had a realistic setting but felt uncanny and weird. This feels really internally consistent and looks like a ton of fun to play.
Activision were fools for not letting them do this under their umbrella.

I hope to get it at some point.

    1. My kid saw the video and said "That looks just like Half-Life!"
