In many of the debates I have read here, and elsewhere, regarding 3D printing one of the most common criticisms is the inability of 3D printers to achieve any kind of fine detail.  While this is not ready for prime time yet we might have turned the corner, an entire room was sculpted using 3D printing.

So it is no secret that I post less frequently than the rest of the writers here, I would like to blame school for that. I haven't had the opportunity to touch my toy men since the hard boys semis at the beginning of the semester.
Yep, this semester has been a wild ride which I can thankfully finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Emo ranting aside when I got the chance to indulge in a little pre-turkey debauchery with Chosen1.
I jumped at the chance.

Adepticon: LustWing vs. Tallarns

Chambers and I finally got a game in! Though we had to travel to Adepticon to do it. We played after my game with Dethtron on Saturday. The battle report for which will be coming on Friday. :)

Do you hate "Counts As" armies? Well prepare for your head to pop! He runs his Slaanish Terminators (Lovingly modeled and painted by Ron at From the Warp) using Space Wolves rules. Kirby would be proud. :)

Last Thursday I broke back into 40k after taking a break, and while I am still not looking to get involved in any hard tournaments I found my self looking forward to this next match with anticipation.

For my bug army I am doing Hive mind peter built, thus the main colors are Red and white.
I thought that I would follow an inverse of Hive fleet Kraken with a body of blood red and a carapace/ teeth/ etc of bleached bone.  This leaves me to the question of the accent color(s), from your articles I am thinking that a shadow grey would be the correct color.  However GW uses a dark purple, am I missing something?  Or is there a better set of colors that you could recommend using the red/white base?

A couple of weeks back I had the opportunity to pack up the family and make our way over to Indy. I might have stashed an army in the back of the car while packing. Graciously, our wives let us get away for the afternoon on Saturday.

So the wife,the kid and I are all packing up and headed to Indy in a week. While it will be good to see everybody and catch up, lets be honest I am really looking forward to pushing some little plastic men around a table and rolling dice. I am even more exited since this will be the first time that I get to try out my shinny new Lust-Wing army.
