Breaking 6th Edition's Detachment Rules
by Sandwyrm
So Tasty has released another rumor, though this one comes with a long CYA statement. So take it with plenty of salt. But unlike the other rumors I'm less horrified by this one than I am intrigued. Though maybe I really should be more horrified than I am. :)

Getting ready for Nova and 6th edition. Space Wolves vs Grey Knights
By Spaguatyrine

So as I get ready for the Nova Invitational and GT the big question is do I really take the new shiny Grey Knights or the old new Space Wolves?

Getting Ready For Adepticon: Wolves Or Knights?
by Spaguatyrine
So Adepticon is less than a week away and I am second guessing my army list. My original thought was space wolves as they are my best army overall at this point. I also hadn't played in nearly three months until this past Saturday........................

Spaguatyrine and Ardz Boys Semi-Final!!!!!!!!!!!
by Spaguatyrine
So I decided to switch back to Space Wolves after finding out there was no Dawn of War deployment. Great move because my plan worked out well. Of course I figured I would have to play grey knights which knocked me off the top spot at the invitational. But this time I was ready....

NOVA: SandWyrm's Games Part II
by SandWyrm
Continued from here.
(BTW, We're getting a lot of painting questions. I'll get to them after I finish the tourney reports. -SW)
Ok... So I'm 2 games into the NOVA Open, and my record is 0-2. Not good. And the one victory I did have (Whiskey Challenge) for the weekend was kind of close for comfort. If I was going to have any chance at all at Best Overall, I needed to start winning some games!

My 'I Hate Thunderwolves' List
by SandWyrm
As regular readers of the blog know, I've been flummoxed on how to beat Spag's Space Wolves with my Guard. While his Thunderwolves aren't that big a deal for my Blood Angels (or even Tyranids) to kill, they're a real hell for my IG to deal with. Toughness 5, stormshields, unique equipment, and huge cover-touching bases make them VERY resilient to ranged fire. Like Nob Bikers on steroids. While their cavalry status gives them the ability to hop out of cover in the movement phase, run, and then assault up to 12" in a wide arc that can easily hit 2-3 tanks at once.

Las/Plas Razorback vs. Twin Linked Assault Cannon Razorback
By Spaguatyrine
With the increased melta meta game light armored transports have taken over the 40k battlefield instead of heavy armored Landraiders. This goes to question which Razorback is the best option?
Is it....

Increasing your chance of successful deployment and winning. The KISS strategy

Of Blood And Fur
By TheGraveMind
Spaguatyrine and I were able to get a game in this tuesday. I think it is only the second time we have ever played, and I have come a long way since then with my Blood Angels.
The Mission; Annihilation, the Deployment; Pitched battle. We agreed on 1750 and He had first turn.

Email: Space Wolves Painting Help
by SandWyrm
Wow!
I've got a huge backlog of painting emails (some of which Farmpunk sat on for a while), even as I feverishly paint Stormtrooper models for Adepticon next week . I'll try and get some of these out of the way before I leave.
Now, onto the first. Roland Writes:

New Photos of Converted Thunderwolves
by Spaguatyrine
I have 2 more to convert to have my 12. I still have some pinning to do to ensure I can remove arms as needed. I have thought about going to 15, but don't think it is a viable army list. Maybe a test for Ardz boys. The...
Thunderwolf Calvary-The best unit in the game......? They get my vote for MVP of 40K!
by Spaguatyrine
As I continue to learn to master the use of my 11/12 Thunderwolves, I am coming to a very interesting
opinion. Thunderwolf Calvary could be the best unit in the game..
