Tournament Report: G2D4 Last Saturday

Contrary to popular opinion, I'm still playing 40K. I only took one week off to try out Kings of War; and another because I had daddy duties while Mrs. SandWyrm was out of town. So while I may be mad at GW and not be planning expansions to my forces anymore, that doesn't mean that I've retired.

Anyhow, I headed over to Games to Die For on Saturday to play in the tournament that Spag had hastily set up for those of us that had originally planned on going up to Kokomo. Before that event was pushed forward to next month.

BoLS has a CRAP TON of additional rumors about 6th Edition up in their lounge (Edit: They're a re-post from Blood of Kittens). TWENTY-ONE PAGES WORTH when pasted into Word! Honestly, I got about half-way through them and skimmed the rest. With this much intricate detail, it's either the real deal or someone's autistic brother has WAY to much time on his hands. Really, it would take weeks to dream this up with the level of consistency that I see here.

With both Mantic and Privateer Press announcing direct 40K competitors recently, there's been a fair bit of grousing about how these companies should try and be new and/or different. Particularly regarding Mantic's released images of their "Marauders", which are superficially very similar to GW's "Orks".

I wanted to share with everyone my Carrying case for my Blood angels. It started when my mother informed me that storage/organizer boxes were on sale at the local hobby supply store. So I stopped by and got some of various colors and used a few for my desk, and put the others downstairs for later. Well one day I happened to my LGS, and two gentlemen had just purchased new foam trays for additions to their army. As they were gouging out spaces for their models, I asked if they minded if I took these pieces. They didn’t mind as they were going to throw them away. I got a back from the front desk and gathered up spare foam. I took it home and I had a project on my hands.
