This looks like it could be awesome, but I'm still fuming from how bad the last 2 TW games that I bought sucked. So I'm not sure what to think about another game from the same group.
They are under SEGA now, but I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing either.
Still, anything would be better than "Shadow of the Horned Rat" was back in the 90's.
this looks cool. Until the world explodes, and you've got to wait for your reality bubble to bump into another reality bubble, then fight until they pull apart again.
I'll wait until I see some reviews. from non-GW Fanbois.
I doubt we'll see that nonsense in the game. First, because the Creative Assembly isn't that stupid, and second because they'll have been working on this for at least 1.5 - 2 years. Quite a bit before the "bubble" rumors started breaking.

ReplyDeleteDoes it have battleships? I'm having trouble caring about games without battleships right now.
ReplyDeleteLOL.
DeleteIt might, as the other Total War games have ships.
Huh, if only GW didn't just blow up their WFB world and kill off my armies... Might be something to look at eventually I guess...
ReplyDeleteI'm getting it. Don't care if it sucks.
ReplyDeleteOn one hand, Rome 2 was awful. On the other, Shogun 2 was one of the best games I ever played, and FoTS was an amazing expansion.
ReplyDeleteI'm cautiously optimistic that 2 weeks after release it'll be a good game.
Rome 1: Awesome. Still play it every year.
DeleteEmpire: Meh. WAY too big in scope. Gave up after 4-5 hours.
Rome 2: What. The. Frak? Gave up after 30 min.
If they don't have enough real history to over-detail and micromanage, this COULD be a decent game.
