Ok, so it's obviously just a WHFB version of the 40K Eldar Avatar. But on the other hand it's probably the coolest looking Avatar model that GW has ever put out. Especially if you were to model up an Exodite force around it.

The First Transport is Away!
...and it should be getting here on the 30th |
Half the fun of writing an article on X-Wing is picking the best Star Wars quote for a title.
Fantasy Flight likes to do this cool thing where they let you know the rules for stuff before you buy it. So if you want to check out the rules for the huge ships and epic level tournaments go here. If you want to know the highlights and what these rules may mean for the game keep reading...

Had To Check The Math Twice, But... Wow.
by SandWyrm
Saw this fail on BoLS today, but L' Astropate had a much better picture of it. What I find particularly amusing is that all of the tools, bought separately, cost less than the GW "Limited Edition" tool set.

GW: Is It All About The Anticipation?
by SandWyrm
I ran across an interesting video today. It's part of a talk by Robert Sapolsky about how Dopamine (which triggers reward-seeking behaviours in the brain) responds in relation to a rewarding activity. After watching it, I couldn't help but think of Games Workshop and it's inconsistent quality control. Is it the very inconsistency and randomness of their rules and financial results that keeps our attention focused on them? Are competing games/companies just inherently more boring in comparison?

Adepticon Team tournament
By TheGraveMind
Some of us from the Battle Mallet gaming club decided we were going to go to Adepticon and partake in the Team tournament. We went with no display board, no real theme. We didn't even fully know what our other team members were bringing in their lists. Guess how we did...

Arranging Deck Chairs - The New GW Web Store
by: CaulynDarr (This is my first time posting here as a guest author. )
I really was done talking about GW and their games. At least for a while. But as a professional software developer, I
couldn’t let their new website go by un-critiqued. Especially when it is so…awful. I mean really. The surest way for a site or an app to fail
is to produce one not knowing what the user wants and needs. So this is just another example of how GW has
no clue what their customer want or need.
First off the home page:

Table Top Day!
by: farmpunk
I love table top boardgames. Something everyone can sit down and do on a rainy day, or cold day, or... any day. It just so happens that tomorrow, April 5th, is Table Top day.
