Why Is It That...

by SandWyrm

... Red spraypaint takes 10x longer to dry than yellow? I mean, seriously, what's up with that?

  1. The yellow has more pieces of solid white base to make it a stronger colour. There's literally less paint to dry.

At least that's what they tell me.

Why on earth would you spray paint your army cases anyhow? Is this to prevent the age old problem of owning ten armies and literally opening every single case until the army you want is in the last one?

I keep telling myself I'll label them all one day. Lies, lies I tell you.

No seriously. Is it so that you know what's in what?

Telling my 3 armies apart is a big part of it, but I'm also a stickler (some would say insane) for presentation. So I'm going to decorate the cases with some simple graphics for each army.

It'll be part of feeling like the armies are actually "done".

Plus one of the cases was um, "decorated" by it's previous owner. So that needs to be covered up. :)

  3. How do you manage to even fit all your troops (let alone vehicles) in one of those cases? They are tiny.

  4. Very careful planning. I can fit 9 tanks and their turrets in the bottom 2 layers of the large case. My infantry goes in the trays on top. The Vendettas get a small case of their own.

The Emo-Wing fits in a single case with room for 3 more tanks/speeders to spare.
